For those of you who don’t know, I love to shop! Especially when I am in a new place or a city I have never been to. While vacationing in Amelia Island, Florida this past week, I got a lot of shopping in since Tropical Storm Debby put a damper on our beach plans. One early afternoon, my husband, my son, my eight year old cousin and I left our condo to venture out and browse The Shops at Amelia Island Plantation. My Dad had mentioned there was a fun and unique market and deli shoppe there that I would love; he was right! Marche Burette is an old fashioned deli that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. It over looks a lake that is filled with herons, turtles and fish. My son Luca loved watching the birds and the fountain that was in the middle of the lake so much that he wouldn’t sit still to eat his lunch! Not only does this deli serve food, but it’s a gift shop as well. They have a huge wine shop, grocery and a ton of fun knick knacks! While browsing the store I came across these adorable cocktail mixes made by Pelican Bay. Not only is it a cocktail drink mix, it also includes a fun accessory attached to the packaging such as a colorful straw, an umbrella, or a whisk and also include a pretty sanding sugar to rim your cup. These are perfect souvenirs and would make great party favors for any summer parties. This company also makes stuff for kids such as alligator swamp cake mix.
